Overview

This unique itinerary lets you visit Namibia, Botswana and Zambia in 20-days. Here you start your trip at the Victoria Falls (Zambia) before setting off to Chobe National Park (Botswana) and onto Namibia. As each country is unique in terms of offering, the people, the culture, the wildlife, and the combination of offering makes this itinerary all the more rewarding. You don't have to stop here either, should time permit, you can extend your journey and include Zimbabwe, Malawi or South Africa.

Itinerary

Location 1

The Woodlands at Waterberry Lodge, Livingstone

Day 1 & 2

On arrival into Livingstone, you will be met by a member of our team and taken to Waterberry Lodge, located on the banks of the Zambezi River. You'll get here in time for the evening boat cruise which is the perfect introduction to Africa! On day 2 you will be introduced on your vehicle, have a brief driver safety training course, and time to stock up on food supplies before embarking on your trip. Of course at some point during your two days in Livingstone you must make time to see the majestic Victoria Falls.

Location 2

Ihaha Campsite, Chobe National Park

Day 3 & 4

Today you make your way across the border into Botswana to Ihaha campsite on the Chobe River in Chobe National Park. You will have two nights here to enable you to have a full day of game driving in this area.

Nambwa Tented Lodge, Caprivi Strip

Day 5 & 6

Today you will make your way to the lovely Nambwa Lodge, just south of Kongola, an exclusive luxury lodge set on the banks of the seasonal floodplains of the Kwando River. The elevated main tented complex provides the focal point for the guests. Wine and dine in the boma and on individual tables in the dining area.


Location 4

Nunda Campsite, Caprivi

Day 7

Continue your adventure through the Caprivi strip to stay at Nunda Safari Lodge & Campsite. Nunda, the local Thimbukushu name given to the fruit of the Jackalberry tree, is situated on the Kavango River in the land of the proud Hambukushu people.

Location 5

Hakusembe River Lodge, Rundu

Day 8

Today you drive to Rundu and Hakusembe River Lodge which sits just above the beautiful Okavango flood plain.

Location 6

Onguma Campsite, Etosha National Park

Day 9 & 10

Today you make your way to Namibia's famous, Etosha National Park. Enjoy two nights here game driving Etosha.

Location 7

Etosha Safari Lodge, Etosha National Park

Day 11

Today you drive through Etosha National Park, to Etosha Safari Lodge, located just outside Andersson's gate.

Location 8

Mowani Campsite, Damaraland

Day 12

Today you head south into the Damaraland to Mowani Campsite. Get ready for a stunning drive!

Location 9

Spitzkoppe Campsite

Day 13

Today you will drive to Spitzkoppe, which we think is one of the most beautiful areas in Namibia, consisting of an imposing granite rock formation set in the plains. You can walk in the area and climb up to Bushman’s Paradise, a small basin tucked between the domes of rock, where you can view the rock paintings done by Bushmen of the past and gaze at the amazing view.

Location 10

Desert Breeze, Swakopmund

Day 14 & 15

This morning you will be driving to the coastal town of Swakopmund. This evening you will stay at Desert Breeze, which is situated right in front of Swakopmund's mighty dunes.

Location 11

Dead Valley Lodge, Sossusvlei

Day 16

Today you continue south to Dead Valley Lodge and the magnificent dunes of Sossusvlei.

Location 12

Namib Rand Hideout, Namib Rand Nature Reserve

Day 17

This morning you drive to NamibRand Hideout, which is a single private site on a farm in the heart of the NamibRand nature reserve. Surrounded by exceptional desert and natural beauty this is a fantastically private and peaceful campsite.

Location 13

Eningu Clayhouse Lodge

Day 18

Today you will drive to Eningu, a wonderful owner run lodge where you can relax after your action-packed adventure.

Depart Namibia

Day 19

Today you will drive to Windhoek airport for your debrief and vehicle handover before checking in for your flight home.
