Zimbabwe has some truly beautiful and better value lodges and camps. This itinerary takes in some of the best. You stay in Victoria Falls, the Zambezi National Park, Hwange, Matopas, and Great Zimbabwe returning via Hwange to stay in the legendary Victoria Falls Hotel.
On arrival you will be met and driven to the the Victoria Falls Hotel. A proud member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the Edwardian-style hotel, built in 1904, was splendidly redecorated in 2013 to combine its traditional majesty with modern sophistication. For more than 110 years The Victoria Falls Hotel has been a luxury icon in Africa.
Head back towards the Victoria Falls, stopping at Zambezi National Park where you will stay at the lovely tented camp Zambezi Sands, which over looks the mighty Zambezi river.
Drive south into Hwange National Park you stay at the new Hwange Camp. This pretty tented camp is located in the midst of some of the best game viewing in Southern Africa.
Today you drive back to Hwange to Somalisa Camp. Another stunning camp set in Hwange National Park.
Drive to Motopas for a night at the lovely Amalinda Lodge. This camp is set in a different part of the park.
Today you drive to Dete Railway Station where you will leave your vehicle and take the Elephant Express to Bomani Tented Camp, situated in Southern Hwange.
Head back to the Victoria falls, but duck away to Little Gorges for your last two night rather going back to the Victoria Falls. Famous for its spectacular views, you will be constantly drawn to the stunning vistas provided by the Batoka Gorge and the rushing waters of the Zambezi River below.
Today you will return to Victoria Falls Airport in good time for your flight home. You will also hand over your vehicle back here too.
