For 2008 we have opened two new bases in Southern Africa. Livingstone is our
base for Zambia where we have already started operating safaris through Lochinvar,
Lower Zambezi, South Luangwa and ending in Malawi's capital, Lilongwe.
Reverse trips from Lilongwe are also possible, as are return trips to
Lilongwe which allows for a perfect safari and beach option - combining the
game filled park of South Luangwa and then the peaceful waters of Lake
Malawi. These trips are seasonal and run from April until
November.

Safari Drive have been sponsoring 17 year old Jackline Opoyi from the Chuylu Hills since 2005, when she was asked to leave her previous school as her parents sadly couldn't pay the school fees. Since we took over the sponsorship of Jackline's education, she has progressed to be a very capable girl and her reports have been consistently impressive. In her final high school examination results she obtained a C+, which is above average for her year allowing her the opportunity to qualify for admission to a public university later in 2008.
We wish her the best of luck and hope that she qualifies for a degree course in law, which has been her childhood dream. Safari Drive intend to continue the sponsorship throughout her University career. |

Carly, a member of the Safari Drive Team, has just returned from Namibia where she spent 12 days with her 2 daughters Rachel (15 yrs) and Rebecca (10 yrs). Besides this being a family holiday it enabled Carly to research the country and discover the best lodges and camps for children.
Carly went on this trip so that she could explore a route suitable for families and single parents wanting to visit Namibia with thier children and still be independent.
Namibia has always been a safe destination and we can recommend it to everyone that wants to travel with children. |
