Remember, we create individual, tailor-made itineraries
so please don’t feel you have to stick to the following. It is just
one example of the many trips we can arrange in Namibia.
Here is a 12 day trip we arranged for a family who wanted to do
a self drive trip to Namibia over Christmas. (For an itinerary focusing
on remote, northern Namibia please see the link to the left.)

| Day 1 |
Arrive in Windhoek. Stay overnight in a lovely,
small, family-run lodge - a wonderfully friendly and comfortable
place to relax after the flight. |
| |
|
| Day 2 |
Land Rover handover and full briefing. Drive to Sesriem and
camp by the huge and spectacular dunes of Sossuvlei. |
| |
|
| Day 3 |
Explore the area in the Land Rover and camp a second night
near Sossuvlei. |
| |
|
| Day 4 |
Head off into the wilds to camp in a fabulous and totally
remote part of the Namib. This is camping at its absolute best. |
| |
|
| Day 5 |
Arrive at a luxury hotel on the beach near Swakopmund. Boat
out into the bay to see penguins, dolphins and seals or simply
relax by the pool. |
| |
|
| Day 6 |
Continue on to a great camp in Brandberg, where desert elephant
may be found. |
| |
|
| Day 7 |
Carry on to stay at Twyfelfontein, where you take a balloon
ride over the beautiful landscape of Damaraland. |
| |
|
| Days 8-10 |
Next is Etosha National Park and a 3 day stay in a really
comfortable, exclusive cottage overlooking a floodlit waterhole.
Wonderful game-viewing. |
| |
|
| Day 11 |
Head on to Waterberg Plateau, an imposing, red, rocky outcrop
set amongst the plains of the National Park. A fabulous camping
location. |
| |
|
| Day 12 |
Return to Windhoek to spend the last night of the holiday
at a fabulous, top class hotel with wonderful food, incredible
wine cellars and beautifully decorated rooms. A real treat before
returning home the following day. |
