Exploring the whole of Oman this 18 day tour de force starts in the southern city of Salalah and then moves on to the vast expanse of the Empty Quarter before returning to the coast. The Wahiba sands offers a traditional bedouin camp.

Day 1: Muscat
Arrive Muscat and spend the night in a luxurious hotel.
Day 2 - 4: Salalah
Fly to Salalah, collect your vehicle and provisions, explore the coast line
to the east and west of Salalah. Stay in a hotel on the beach.
Day 5 & 6: The Empty Quarter
Set off into the picturesque Empty Quarter where you will camp in the dunes
under the stars surrounded by miles and miles of nothing.
Day 7: Rough Camping near the Sea
Leave the Empty Quarter and head for the coast where you will find a
secluded cove to camp.
Day 8: Wahiba Sands
Follow Oman’s dramatic coastline north until you reach the Wahiba Sands,
cut inland and find a spot to camp.
Day 9 & 10: Wahiba Sands
Spend two nights in a rustic camp in the heart of Wahiba Sands, from here
enjoy camel rides and star gazing.
Day 11 - 13: Al Jebel Al Akhdar Mountains
Set off for the Mountains, a sharp contrast to the desert, cooler and green
the mountians are reached by a hairpin road that weaves between villages and
orchards.
Day 14 - 17: Muscat
Return to Muscat and unwind at one of several world class hotels set on the
beach.
Day 18: Depart Day
